Sime-Gen Reviews / Nan Doporto - Four Stars
Stacia Roberts wants a little adventure in her dull life. She adds a bit too much spice when she answers a newspaper ad, and armed with a package, boards a plane bound for Greece. Looking for excitement, a bit of sunshine and possibly romance, she attempts to dismiss Andrew Moore, a fellow passenger, who doesn't appear a likely candidate. When circumstances force them to further their acquaintance, Stacia comes to fear he may just be her enemy rather than her new friend.
Andrew has his eye on Stacia all right, especially her package. He just wonders what is going to happen to the innocent who is carrying it. Or, is she more than she seems? As the couple are thrown together, Andrew begins to lose his heart. Adventure calls, and romance flourishes as Stacie and Andrew uncover deadly plots and intrigue of international thieves.

This is a 'must read' book." Judy Gill, bestselling author
"Gael has created a masterpiece of emotional intensity and adventure amidst the Grecian ruins." Vanessa Grant, bestselling author
"Congratulations. I just finished the first chapters of Lovers Never Lie on line and I'm very excited. You write the kind of books I've been searching for: a potent combination of exotic setting, romance, sensuality and suspense. And it's all tied together with really good writing. From page one, I felt 'there', plunged smack-dab into the scene and the action. I loved the sensual details and strong clean prose. I'm blown away. I don't want to sound like a snob, but to be honest I find a lot of romance fiction disappointing, with flabby, florid prose. It's great to find such a well written story that delivers romance and adventure. Your first three chapters definitely hooked me and left me wanting more. You have a new fan. P.S. I love the cover." Gael's love of travel and adventure has led her all over the world and provided exciting backdrops for her stories. Together with her husband, Gael backpacked through Europe and Turkey, taught high school for two years in the primitive paradise of Papua New Guinea, explored the varied cultures of Asia and India, and encountered a camel caravan in the Afghanistan desert.
Upon returning home to Canada, Gael and her husband worked at an Outward Bound camp for juvenile delinquents while her husband attended Law School, and Gael began raising the first two of their four sons. Gael also taught during this time as a Learning Assistance teacher in a special program for First Nations students.
Gael and her family traveled to Cambridge, England to live for a year, where they studied, took up the sport of squash, and enjoyed long walks along the river Cam. They explored Europe as a family, enjoying the delights of France, Italy and Spain, spending Christmas in Salzburg, Austria.
After returning to Canada, Gael and her husband had two more sons and she settled into teaching English as a Second Language to refugees and new Canadians at a community college, where Prince Charles of England visited her class.
